Alx Gunn Interiors is an interior design, architectural design and home staging studio based in Crowborough, East Sussex, working with homeowners, property developers, investors and landlords across East Sussex, West Sussex and Kent.
We specialise in residential interior design, architectural design, home staging, bespoke furnishing and project management, creating beautifully designed homes that are both practical to live in and beautifully presented for sale.

Established in 2017, Alx Gunn Interiors is led by founder Alx Gunn, an interior designer, home staging specialist and creative with a background spanning graphic design, broadcast design and residential property.
After studying at Art School in Southampton, Alx went on to earn a degree in Graphic Art from Anglia Ruskin University, developing a multidisciplinary design approach across graphic design, illustration, photography and printmaking.
Following graduation, she spent almost twenty years working in London's film, broadcast design and digital creative industries, leading projects for internationally recognised brands and travelling extensively. This experience developed a strong understanding of visual communication, composition and the psychology of presentation—skills that continue to influence every interior and home staging project today.
After relocating to East Sussex in 2008, Alx began renovating and remodelling residential properties of her own. Applying her marketing background to property presentation, she quickly recognised the impact thoughtful design could have on both buyer perception and property value.
In 2017, recognising there was a gap in the UK market for professional home staging, she founded Alx Gunn Home Staging. As demand grew, homeowners increasingly approached her not only to prepare properties for sale, but to redesign the homes they planned to stay in. Interior design and architectural design naturally evolved alongside the business, creating the full-service studio that exists today.
Alx draws inspiration from a broad range of architectural styles and design movements. She has a particular appreciation for period architecture, traditional craftsmanship, antiques and English Heritage, while also admiring the clean lines and timeless simplicity of Modernism and the Bauhaus movement.

Whether designing a Georgian cottage, renovating a Victorian family home or furnishing a contemporary new build, Alx believes the most successful interiors are those that feel considered, personal and as though they have evolved naturally over time.

Alx Gunn Interiors provides interior design, architectural design and home staging services throughout East Sussex, West Sussex and Kent. We work with homeowners, property developers, landlords and investors on projects ranging from individual room schemes and home renovations to bespoke furnishing packages and property staging.
We regularly undertake projects in Brighton & Hove, Lewes, Crowborough, Haywards Heath, Eastbourne, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks and the surrounding towns and villages. We are also happy to travel further afield for the right project.
Our experience spans everything from period cottages, Victorian and Edwardian homes to contemporary new builds, luxury apartments, rental properties and developer show homes, with every design tailored to suit both the property and the people who use it.
